The Christian Motorcyclist Association has its first forming Off Road Chapter in Michigan. The CMA Chapter Cross Trail Riders is located in Dowagiac and are hosting an event in Irons (Baldwin) May 4-6, 2012. We have an area reserved for camping at Enchanted Acres Canoe and Campground, CMA events are open events and everyone is welcome. Winter was here, but acted more like a lamb, than a wolf; a lamb that shed its coat once or twice this season. It was pretty much a snowless winter, with a couple of major snow events, followed by rain and unseasonable warm weather. The sudden onslaught of snow, did have its problems. Hey, I am new to the club, and fairly new to riding. But I am looking for more friends to go riding with in and around the area. I frequet St. Helen's, West Branch area and looking for new people to go riding with. I love the trails up there.
It has been a snowless winter this month. The sled trails are bare, and the snowmobilers are riled. Wisconsin is coping with this by opening up its sled trails to ATV’s this winter, as they need that outdoor power sports business. Luckily here in Michigan, most of the ATV trails are open this time of year. There may be some routes that may be closed, but predominantly most everything we can ride in the summer is open in the winter. The question that I ask, is how many people are riding their ATV’s ...
